Rancang Bangun Purwarupa Perangkat Wearable Headset untuk Pengukuran Sinyal Listrik pada Otak

Abstract


Dewasa ini penggunaan perangkat pengukuran sinyal listrik pada otak tidak hanya untuk keperluan medis, tetapi juga telah berkembang ke beragam bidang nonmedis, antara lain video games dan biofeedback simulator. Kebutuhan perangkat pengukuran sinyal listrik pada otak yang mudah digunakan (wearable), nirkabel, open system, dan mudah dikonfigurasi sesuai kebutuhan sudah menjadi sangat tinggi. Dalam makalah ini, dipaparkan mengenai rancang bangun purwarupa perangkat wearable headset EEG. Headset EEG yang dikembangkan berbahan dasar bambu dan didesain agar dapat diatur peletakan elektrodenya sesuai dengan ukuran kepala. Selain itu, dudukan elektrode dibuat dengan sistem pegas untuk mengurangi artifacts gerak selama dilakukan perekaman. Pengujian perekaman dilakukan dengan purwarupa headset dan tanpa headset pada empat subjek. Hasil perekaman sinyal EEG untuk kondisi kepala bergerak ringan dibandingkan dengan sinyal EEG pada kondisi rileks sebagai baseline dievaluasi berdasarkan nilai persentase koefisien korelasi dari representasi sinyal EEG perekaman dalam domain frekuensi. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan purwarupa headset memiliki kinerja yang lebih baik dalam meminimalkan artifacts gerakan yang diindikasikan dengan nilai korelasi yang lebih tinggi relatif terhadap perekaman tanpa headset.
